Envelop

Very much like todryfor.com where i got my tea towel this site sell high quality cotton items with a twist. Envelop are an online based platform where illustrators can create aprons, oven gloves, napkins, cushion covers and more. They simply upload their designs and the products are made on demand. Amazing!

Valentine's cards

I've been in search of some really lovely valentines cards this year. I'm sick of the same old boring one's from clitons so i've been on the look out for something really different. These first three are from Egg Press.

The next two are from the Marks and Spencers Range. This is year they are making it easy to personalise the cards. You can write whatever you want on them.

The last three cards are Gemma Correll, hellomemo and Anke Weckmann.

Gingerbread Men Housemates

I got my very own, very sweet gingerbread men making kit for a birthday present from one of my friends and decided to make one for each of my housemates. The likeness is uncanny. They were super tasty too!

Matt Suanders

Recenlty a friend Matt Saunders asked me to work with him on an exhibition. He draw's these really amazing characters and asked if i could recreate them in 3D felt form. Here's a few photo's of his work and the plan for what i was to make. Definitley check out his work by clicking on his name above :)He's doing animation for Jeffrey Brown too, which so far is looking awesome! For those of you who don't know Jeffrey Brown i'll will put up some of his stuff in my next post.

Right so here's my second attempt at the yeti like character, i think he's really sweet, going to try him in a brown colour today with tan stiching.

Cushion

I have made this simple envelope cushion with the gorgeous french bulldog material i got from Knit and Stitch in Harrogate. I love this material so muchand didnt want to use it all so i used black velvet for the back which is so soft and luxurious! I even added the lovely trimming around the edges.
Like i always say, these photo's are terrible and don't do the cushion justice, i'm really proud of it.

The New Year

So New years Eve was amazing! And here's a couple of photos to proove it, although we're all looking pretty tired by this point.

We're having a record breaking winter and although the snow looks lovely, it's starting to grate on me now. Especially because I left my wellies back home over Christmas and apart from my Doc Martens(that blister my feet) i don't have any suitable shoes, as the snow now comes up past my ankles. I just hope i can get to Sheffield tomorrow! I'm still waiting on a few packages to arrive too, it's crazy how a bit of snow sends the country into chaos!
